Irish Coffee - Original Recipe
1 cup hot coffee 6-8oz
1 1/2 oz Irish Mist liqueur
Whipped cream-from heavy whipping cream
Add liqueur then coffee and finish with a large serving of cream on top - add a chocolate bean on top for extra presentation
Irish Coffee - Modern Version
1 oz Irish whiskey
1 tsp brn sugar
8 oz hot coffee-strong
heavy cream -whipped
Combine suger and whiskey then add coffee in a medium size cup and stir until dissolved. Gently pour cool creme on top as to float on top. (optional:add a small amount of creme de menthe -mint liqueur)
Drink it up.
Mexican Coffee
This is a wonderful drink or dessert. And you wouldn't be the first
person to spike it with a little Kahlua.
1 quart whole milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup instant cocoa mix
8 cups boiling water
1/3 cup instant coffee granules
whipped cream
Combine first three ingredients in a Dutch oven, and cook over medium
heat until thoroughly heated. Do not allow to boil. Stir in
instant cocoa mix.
Combine boiling water and coffee granules, and stir into milk mixture.
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and, if desired, garnish with
cinnamon sticks. Makes 3 quarts.
Coffee Milk Shake
Recipe:
Mix 3 teaspoons of instant coffee powder and 2 teaspoons of sugar
with 1 tablespoon of hot water. Put the mixture with 250 ml of
cold milk and 3 ice-cream spoons of vanilla ice cream in
a blender. Blend until frothy. Serve in tall glasses with a straw.
